Even those who find all these national food holidays a bit corny can’t deny the draw of a dining deal. In honor of National Corn Dog Day, Wienerschnitzel is celebrating with 99-cent corn dogs all day Sunday.
This is the 24th year the dish has been nationally recognized on its own special day. According to Doug Koegeboehn, chief marketing officer for Wienerschnitzel, the chain offers the best version since debuting on the menu in 1965.
