Kern County Public Health Services essentially shut down a food and tobacco store in Oildale for 30 days Monday after sheriff’s deputies seized “spice” there during a search, officials said Monday.
The execution of a search warrant at the Oildale Tobacco & Discount Store, in the 200 block of Roberts Lane, by the Kern County Sheriff’s Office turned up the substance, which is also known as “synthetic marijuana,” a health department news release said.
