Cal State Bakersfield downed Bakersfield College 5-0 Saturday morning in an exhibition beach volleyball match at CSUB.
CSUB’s teams of Sydney Haynes-Carp; Grasso, Edithza Urias-Jocelyn Rodriguez, Sophie Flemion-Kelsee Sawyer and Ally Barber-Katie Dunbar-Love won in straight sets. At No. 4, CSUB’s Amanda Schoene and Kortney Freeland needed three sets to edge BC’s Kayla Romero and Brea Lidgett, 21-7, 21-23, 15-8. CSUB is 3-12 and BC is 2-3.
