LANCASTER — Austin Toerner allowed just one run in seven innings as Bakersfield College beat Antelope Valley College (6-18, 2-7) 6-1 on the road in Western State Conference South play.
Toerner struck out five and walked one, while Jason Potter pitched a scoreless eighth and ninth to nail down the win for BC (15-9, 6-3).
