Comedian Tim Meadows might be best known for his “Saturday Night Live” character Leon Phelps, the titular Ladies Man of the 2000 film “The Ladies Man.” But for those expecting his set next Thursday at Temblor Brewing Company to be an hour or so of “The Ladies Man’s Greatest Hits,” put down that bottle of Courvoisier and make room for some tasty brew instead.
What makes Meadows’ approach a bit different is his casual rapport with the crowd. The comedian isn’t afraid to engage his audience by asking questions, discovering who they are and where they’re from and making the crowd a de-facto part of his act. It’s understandable, that for most of the audience, it’s an introduction that works both ways.
