A 30-year-old Oildale man who gunned down his uncle and a family friend last month was an ISIS sympathizer who referred to family members as infidels and celebrated the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, according to court filings.
Christopher Dale Gray, who shot and killed himself hours after the killings, was sympathetic to an Islamic militant group also known as Islamic State, a search warrant says family members told investigators. That description appears to clash with statements from relatives who on the day of the shooting described Gray as a member of a white supremacist street gang.
