Quick response from nearby workers helps stop fire in Bear Valley

Fast action by crew members from Witten Logging Company, contract wood cutters for the bark beetle-infested trees in Bear Valley Springs, saw a vegetation fire start just down the road from where they were cutting Friday afternoon.

It happened at Medicine Bow Court and Deertrail Drive.
