Work on Centennial Corridor, the controversial connection between Highway 58 and the Westside Parkway, can proceed pending a hearing late this year or early next on the project’s environmental report, a superior court judge decided on Friday.
In a tentative ruling he confirmed after hearing arguments from both sides, Kern County Superior Court Judge Kenneth C. Twisselman II denied a request for a preliminary injunction from attorneys for Concerned Citizens About Centennial Corridor that would have continued to halt work on the project.
